We dogs and cats are all about fun, I mean why do it, if it isn’t fun. Myself and Jackson’s idea of fun is going for car rides, swimming, chasing, eating and hanging out with my mom and dad. Manny’s idea of fun is antagonizing us, but that is for another time. Anyways, in an effort to increase the fun in our lives, we convinced dad to open a pet bakery. Think about it, how better to spend your day than with your best friend, meeting other dogs, cats, and their caring human companions, while getting lots of attention, belly rubs and delicious treats. That would be puppy nirvana.

He agreed and decided the best way to achieve this puppy nirvana was by opening The BigBiscuit. The focus of the shop would be fun and wholesome human-grade ingredient treats. Because this wouldn’t be just any shop; this would be a pet bakery for dogs and cats like you, whose human companion cares about your nutrition and well-being. You want only the best, and we do too. Then, I told him that wouldn’t be enough, I reminded him of his previous experience in environmental work and that the store should also provide products that are good for the environment and safe for us four pawed friends. Again he agreed (are you seeing a pattern here, now you know who the real genius is behind The Big Biscuit) and made that a focus of the specialty end of the business.

So, we started The Big Biscuit in November of 2008 and began to serve dogs and cats like you. As you well know dog survival depends on the pack, and we of course were helped by many of our pack mates along the way. We would like to extend special thanks to all the friends and family that helped turn our dream into a reality. They include but are not limited to Jocko, Trooper, Sonoba, Leland, Kimber, and Jesse. In addition, we give two paws up to Laurie and her husband Dan who are responsible for our awesome logo. Finally, we thank your human companions who love and care about you as much as our mom and dad love us.

We won’t stop striving for fun and companionship. It’s in our DNA, and we will help make it part of yours.
